Pet Resort at Willow Wood opened in early 2002 when Dr. Scott and Janelle Whiteman recognized the need for a premium pet lodging facility to compliment Willow Wood Animal Hospital. Willow Wood Animal Hospital has been serving the central Ohio area for 18 years.
The Animal Hospital and Pet Resort buildings are connected with a combined 15,000 square foot modern building to provide our clients with complete animal care from wellness medicine, to diagnostics, prescriptions diets, dental care, premium lodging, doggie daycare and grooming just to name a few of the services that we offer.
The Pet Resort has 15 staff members, many having earned a Pet Care Technician certification, all dedicated to making your pet’s stay with us fun and safe.
Our resort is relaxing for the pets offering a sound system that plays music throughout the building and climate controlled themed rooms with skylights. We have state of the art security systems including pet secure fencing.
We include 3 outdoor elimination sessions for dogs daily all included in the nightly lodging fee. Additional potty breaks can be added for a small fee.
Unlike many facilities, we chart all pet’s eating, elimination, activity and general health daily.
Because our on-site Veterinarians and other leading Veterinarians believe very strongly that daily activity increases the health and happiness of your pet, we offer five discounted activity packages for you to choose for your dog and an A La Carte menu of individual activities for both dogs and cats. You can easily customize your pet’s vacation!! Let one of our trained reservation specialists help you make this a really special time for your pet. They will beg to come back!!
